This option is used to insert movies in your topics for the output formats that support them. See Flash Animations and Video for details.

Local/YouTube: |
Choose a video file stored on your computer or embed a YouTube video. |
Video File/YouTube URL: |
The local video file you want to insert or the URL of the YouTube video. You can use either the URL from the Address: field of your browser or the shortened "Share" URL provided by YouTube. Help & Manual will automatically convert it so that it works properly. |
Title/Caption: |
The Title is the ALT tag text that is also displayed as mouseover tip. The caption is displayed below the video just like the caption of an image. |
Width/Height: |
The width and height of the box that contains the video for display. You may need to adjust this a little if the size of the video is not registered correctly. Use the default values for YouTube, this will normally work best. If you turn off the Lightbox option (see below) you can use these settings to scale the video for inline display. The poster image will be adjusted to the scale you enter. |
Alignment/ |
This is the same as the alignment and padding values for inserting images. |
Lightbox/ |
If you select Lightbox the video will be played in an overlay on the page when the user clicks on it and the poster image can be smaller than the actual video. Inline plays the video in the page and automatically sets the poster image to 100%. |
Preview %: |
The preview image to be displayed on the page when the video is not playing. This must be 100% for inline display but can be smaller for lightbox display. You can scale the video with the Width/Height values for inline display. |
Play automatically: |
Starts the movie as soon as the topic is displayed. This will only work with videos that do not have or require their own embedded player. It does not apply for Flash video. |
Loop playback: |
Repeats the movie indefinitely as long as the topic is displayed. |
This tab displays the HTML code used to embed the movie in HTML-based output formats (HTML Help and WebHelp) and allows you to edit it if you want to.
Selecting I want to enter the embedded HTML code manually displays the code and allows you to edit it or replace it with your own code. Select this after selecting your video in the main tab, otherwise you won't get very meaningful code!
