Indenting tables

A table is handled as a single object in a  paragraph that is not allowed to contain any other objects. The formatting of the table itself is handled by the table properties but the position and alignment of the table on the page are controlled by the paragraph properties of the paragraph containing the table.

This means that to indent a table you need to adjust the indent settings of the paragraph containing the table. This can be done either with a style or by adjusting the paragraph formatting manually.
