New explicit default build options

The DOCX and EPUB build options have been added for clearer selection of output formats with build options.

Duplicate topic ID warning for modular projects

When publishing modular projects (master project with merged child projects) you now get warnings in the compiler report if duplicate topic IDs are encountered in any of the published modules.

Publishing Task Manager

•The Recent Publishes task in the Publishing Task Manger is now read-only. In the past, some users tried to use Recent Publishes as their standard task and were surprised when its contents were changed by publishing the project in the regular Publish screen.

•New design and layout

ZipHelp output format

Help+Manual 10 now fully supports the open ZipHelp format initiated by EC Software. The main purpose of ZipHelp is as an open, compact, single-file and multi-platform documentation format for which anyone can develop a viewer for any platform. See the ZipHelp Information topic for full details.

SVG images in HTML export

Export to WebHelp and eWriter now uses vector-based SVG icons for the table of contents when you select the default TOC icons in the skin. (Many custom skins already use SVG icons for the three icon set.)

Image Conversion Table for HTML, PDF and other exports

A new image conversion table in Configuration > Publishing Options > Image Conversion allows for a detailed configuration, which image format is exported how. This new conversion table replaces the older and more limited settings that used to be in HTML Export Options.
