You can also use ChatGPT to translate, edit and proofread your topics, and to create entirely new topics. That's fairly straightforward, but there are a couple of things you can do to improve performance and to get ChatGPT to use the formatting in your project so that you will only have minimal editing to do afterwards.

Translating and editing topics with ChatGPT

The basic procedure is to select part or all of the topic, attach it to your prompt with the paper clip icon and ask ChatGPT to translate or edit it. However, there are a couple of important steps you need to ensure that the XML formatting in your topic is retained.

Creating new content with ChatGPT

You can also create brand new content with ChatGPT and insert it in a topic. When you do this, you can ask ChatGPT to structure and format your topic. When you are not replacing existing topic content, you can't ask ChatGPT to use XML, because it doesn't have a model. Instead, it formats the response internally with Markdown and Help+Manual converts that into HM XML when you transfer it to the topic.
