Text objects in a HelpXplain project are HTML text styled with CSS. You can style the text but it is text only. You cannot add other elements such as images to the text itself.
In addition to callouts and text objects, which are primarily used for text, you can also activate a text component for any enclosed shape. Just double-click on it or select it and then select the Edit icon in the top left corner. Then you can add and edit text in it in the same way as in callouts and regular text objects.
Every text object has an in-place editor that can be activated with an editor icon displayed in the top right corner. You then just edit the text and click on the check icon to save it to its box when you are ready.
There are three ways to activate editing for a text object:
•Double-click on the text object
•Select the text object and then click on the Edit tool in the top right corner.
•Select the text object and press F2
The text formatting tools are displayed in the Home tab.
Formatting commands with text style presets, lists and so on are available in the Home tab toolbar on the right.
