eWriter Viewer (for Windows) has been updated to version 5.6.
v5.5: This update fixes a bug that occurred when the eViewer Windows app was running in Internet Explorer mode and the computer did not have an internet connection. This has caused an error message when opening an eWriter ebook.
v5.6: This update eliminates the need to distribute the additional “WebView2Loader.dll” with the viewer executable. The viewer now includes the DLL as a resource file and uses it implicitly. This means that on most Win10 and Win11 machines, eViewer runs in Microsoft Edge (Chromium) mode.
