Your new maintenance begins on the expiry date of your previous maintenance, and each maintenance unit is for one year. So if the expiry date is more than a year in the past, you will need more than one maintenance unit per license.

If you need more than 2 years, please purchase an upgrade instead. Upgrades include 12 months of fresh maintenance.
