The Format Panel on the right of the SnipSVG Window contains all the formatting tools for the elements you insert in your projects.
Picture Options
Displayed when nothing is selected (just click anywhere on the canvas).
•The Dimensions define the size of the Picture Frame, which defines the size of the actual image.
•Autosize resizes the Picture Frame to fit exactly around all the elements on the canvas. Also available with CTRL+R Windows and CMD+R macOS.
•Background makes the background transparent or a solid color.
The Quick Format pane
Appears when you select any element on the page. The colors and styles shown here are determined by the current theme, which you can select with the Themes menu on the upper right.
You can edit your own themes and shadow presets. See Themes & Shadow Presets for details.
•The top group immediately styles the selected element. It shows appropriate styles for each element type.
•Apply Shadow quickly applies a shadow with a number of predefined settings.
•Change Shape changes the selected shape to a different one.

Tip: When you have formatted a custom element you can save it for reuse as a Favorite or Default.
Links, scripts and tooltips
At the bottom of the format panel you can define a Hyperlink or JavaScript Code to be executed when the user clicks on the element in a web page.
The Mouseover Text is displayed as a tooltip when the user hovers the mouse of the element in a web page.
Used only in SVG, SnipX files
Links and tooltips can only be stored in SVG, SnipX files. They cannot be included in bitmap files (PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF), which can only contain image data.
