EC Software Free Software License Agreement

This EULA applies to SnipSVG™, eWriter Viewer, eWriter Creator, Help+Manual2Go, QtHelpConverter and other free software on this website.

1 Grant of License

This EULA entitles you to install as many copies of the Software as you want, and use the Software for any lawful purpose consistent with this EULA. Your license to use the Software is expressly conditioned upon your agreement to all of the terms of this EULA.

2 Reservation of Rights and Ownership

EC Software reserves all rights not expressly granted to the user in this EULA. The Software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties. EC Software owns the title, copyright, and other intellectual property rights in the Software. The Software is licensed, not sold. This EULA does not grant the user any rights to trademarks or service marks of EC Software.

3 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

4 Applicable Law

This EULA shall be governed by the laws of Austria, without reference to conflict of law or choice of law principles or decisions. The parties agree on Salzburg, Austria, as the exclusive place of jurisdiction.

5 Entire Agreement, Severability

This EULA (including any addendum or amendment to this EULA which is included with the Software) is the entire agreement between Customer and EC Software relating to the Software and the support services (if any) and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications, proposals and representations with respect to the Software or any other subject matter covered by this EULA. If any provision of this EULA is held to be void, invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
