Spell checker dictionaries

The setup of Help & Manual includes English dictionaries, but many more are available! Since Help & Manual uses the open source dictionary files from OpenOffice, you can download the desired language from the OpenOffice extensions download page.

How to download and install dictionaries:

• Go to the OpenOffice extensions download page
• Select Dictionaries from the extensions list
• Download the required language file to your computer. You will receive a file with an ".OXT" file extension
• Copy the OXT file into the "\Dictionaries" folder of your Help & Manual installation

Microsoft Help Compiler

Most software development tools ship the Microsoft help compiler, so you may already have installed it. In case you need the Microsoft compiler for HTML Help (.chm) files, please download it from here.
